Youtube videos and the music.

How come all these talented people put decent videos on youtube, edit them well present them well, then put the worst music known to man to them?

I mean Christ why is every good Youtube video ruined by having hip-hop, raprave or death metal put to it?

Example. There's some amazing videos of Tornados on there. But I won't watch a frigging second of them because instead of putting good atmospheric music to it, you get to hear Fallout Boy.

Hint: If you're going to put a video on Youtube that has good content, don't ruin it by putting music YOU like to it. Put music that would compliment the mood of the video. No one wants to hear 50 Cent while watching a video about global warming.

I know exactly what you mean. I have seen videos where the music was pretty good though.

I guess I'm naive but I never really thought of Youtube as a site only kids post on. They have the market cornered on Youtube as well?

To be fair I've seen some really good videos on there with the perfect score or song put to them. But now I'm going to assume those videos are done by adults with good taste in music.

Like this video. Not great but pretty damn cool and though the music is kinda generic, if they had put rave music to it, the video would be ruined.

I actually like that people do that.... I only use youtube for music, and some songs that appear on these videos don't have official videos, and that's the only place I can find them

Heres the Tornado video I was talking about. Keep in mind the one who posted this is the stormchaser. I doubt the stormchaser is some 15 year old kid hehe.

Just awful, makes and otherwise great video unwatchable.
