yu gi oh takes alot more skill. while a pokemon lets say that you have a ghost pokemon you might be pretty hard to be beat, while in yu-gi-oh i have one using very weak monsters using spells and traps. i prefer playing a game that requires both luck and skill but thats just me.

pokemon owns. yu gi oh is lame, stupid, and gets old real fast. ( the abridged series clearly proves this). except for the first couple manga volumes when he's all psycho. if all of yu gi oh was like that, then it would own.
pokemon. I've played the yugioh card game a few times, but playing pokemon is just way better. The Yughioh cartoon is better though (minus the editing by 4kids of course).
I loved Pokemon back when I was 8 years old I also collected all of the cards (Charizard, Blastoise, Venesaur,etc.). I played Pokemon for over 5 years and I loved the show back in the day. I got into Yugioh the cards and the show but my interest only lasted 2-3 years.
