Reviews are middling but I don't trust web site reviews much any more.

Is Blood Stone good on PC?

Recommend something else that's similar and way better?...that I haven't played already...we'll see what people recommend I guess...

It's good fun if you're in the mood for an action game featuring Bond. I got it cheap on steam a while back; played it once and haven't touched it since, but it was fun while it lasted:)

A typical run and gun shooter, no interaction, few guns, you basicly shoot from cover, and thats the game. Seriously, thats it. Nothing else happens.

A fun and varied action-adventure. Nails the Bond movie feel perfectly. Some of the car chases are outrageous - in a good way.

I haven't played it, but its the most interesting Bond game I've seen come out of Activision yet. Quantum of Solace was a mess, and Goldeneye: Reloaded completely failed to recapture the fun of the original. Bloodstone was a new entry that tried third person and mixed in driving and melee for a more true Bond experience.

Kind of reminds me of Everything or Nothing, one of the best Bond titles ever made.

The Quantum of Solace movie was also a mess to be honest. I had no idea what was going on most of the time.

Everything or nothing was a great bond game, Blood Stone was not. QoS was a better game than Blood Stone.

Yeah the movie was pretty messily put together. I wouldn't say "bad", but it had a lot of flaws in pacing, story and camera work and was not nearly as good as Casino Royale (which was awesome).

Personally, regardless of what you think of Pierce Brosnan's Bond in films, he was definitely the best Videogame Bond. Goldeneye is obvious, but Nightfire, Everything or Nothing and The World is Not Enough are all pretty good as well.

It's decent, I enjoyed it and I'm generally not a fan of shooters.
The game runs really bad though in some sections, even on good computers.
