How much of a difference will I notice when upgrading to another gig of ram? I am still using DDR SDRAM-400 PC-3200-Dual channel. What will be the noticeable difference in gaming?

-Thanks

Probably. 1 gig of RAM is a big increment.

It really depends on the rest of your system. Maybe something else is bottlenecking your performance and upgrading your memory might not do you much good.

Ask any "expert" and they will tell you the FIRST and BEST way to improve performance to any p.c is to add more ram , you can never have too much of this stuff ! :D

My 4 year old laptop with 1 gig of ram already will probably get no improvement in performance from an extra gig of ram. I monitor my ram and it has always 400-500mb empty. :)

What are your specs and what game? RAM won't do anything if the systems is inadaquate or thesoftware your trying to run doesn't require much RAM.
