I dont know about you but seeing this makes me think - this is definitely gonna be one of the few games I buy day one. It looks great. Anyone else notice the players getting consumed and killed by the rock hands...how awesome is that!?!?!

Looks good but when does it come out exactly? Been waiting for GW2 since 08 thinking it'll be released every year but it gets delayed again and again. Give me this game and i won't need one single other game for another two years :) (do hate every other MMO though).

Edit: All the effects look amazing considering its a stylized style. That means it ditches the realistic look which is out of date + looks like crap in 3 years. Instead it will look the same in 10 years and run on lower machines.

After watching this terribly underwhelming video + the PvP aspect that I hate (not a fan of this way of doing things), I have no interest in this game, the only reason left would be this, which won't cut it. Made me realise how promising Rift might be, will certainly buy after a while if it still maintains its community and I want to mix things up with WoW.

It's unlikely that they won't be releasing Diablo 3 in 2011, but it's not out of the question yet. It's not confirmed. If it was confirmed I'm sure there would have been an ongoing thread already followed by several others.

Hell yeah! :D I could see myself spending some serious time with this, and I don't really play MMO's. Please don't make us wait any longer!!!

Wow, that's some terrible looking fire x.x, I don't care if that's 'stylized' that just looks horrible... really, (youtube is going at ~1kb/s so I can't watch the whole thing) all the spell effects look mediocre, and there's no excuse for that, you can easily run wonderful looking effects, at least match ff13 or something, it's not that hard on hardware >.> Hell, I think ff10's spell effects were better..

They just look so dull and flat...

All of WoW's spell effects are kinda bad looking, but the whole game looks much worse.. so, it's not like it sticks out as a huge flaw.

Game will look good, its youtube quality that sucks.



Graphics aren't the thing i'd worry about. For now the only thing i don't really like is the walking animation which is almost exactly as it is in GW1.

technically, no, its not impressive, but the art direction looks great imo. Character design, spell effects, animations...they all look very slick to me.

There's even a backdrop if you care to notice it. Can't see it too well but it shows some of the game's draw distance. It looks great.
