$1000 Budget USA Rig

Intro: Finally I came up with a solution to the CAN pricing problem. I have a bunch of USA dollars in my wallet, and my aunt lives in new york, she is willing to have all the parts shoipped there from newegg.com So I'm going to pick it up from there

The Question: What would I be able to get with $1000 US , because OI really haven't tried on newegg.com only on newegg.ca

Ill need 12 items :

-cpu

-motherboard

-RAM

-video card

-case (really good cooling)

-power supply

-22" monitor

-2.0 speakers

- hard drive

-optical drive

- heatsink

I need this to be as future proof as possible. Ah god, I cant wait till i get this....in June... 2months...

umm for processors I'm always leaning towards intel and gpu, I dont really have a preference, any will do fine. btw this is obvuiously for gaming

for an 850$ box, shouldn't it be a quad?

For about the same price as TheDuffman26's build, you could get an AM3 mobo, 720BE, DDR3 Ram and have a future proof socket.

Why would you waste money right now on a quad core. There is no reason to get one since very few games can actually take advantage of the 4 cores.freakisgood
