i have a 55 inch tv that only supports 1080i. no 720p none of that, so my question is is there anyway i can convert my old tv to at least support 720 or 1080p? or do i just have to buy a new tv??

I mean is it thick with a glass screen and weights a ton? Even an HD CRT should be able to output to 720 unless it is old enough it cant do progressive scan. I dont know, my buddy has a sony CRT thats about 6 years old and it can do 720p and 1080i.

its got a big back andits preaty heavy..ok i have a ps3 i try to put the resolution to 720 or 1080p but it doesn't accept it it looks all blurry
