What is the point in a 1080P 32" TV? You can barely notice the difference between 720P and 1080P on a 42".

yeah, i have a 22'' 1080i LCD TV for my PS3 and 360, and there is really no difference on it unless you have a HUGE HDTV. Like 42''+.

That was not my point. Obviously there is a difference since 1080p has more than double the number of pixels as 720p. I am saying that you cannot notice the difference unless the screen is a decent size (42"+).

How do you know it's "outputting" in 1080i? It doesn't catch when you tick 1080p, but it does with 1080i? I guess your TV just isn't 1080p :? It's no big deal, personally i'd set it to 720p and be happy. Or contact Toshiba and complain............
