Ok well I'm posting this thread on PS3 and audio/video hardware discussions.

So here is my problem.

I just bought a 47" LCD TV with Full HD 1080P and a PS3. It was working nice as I was playing GTAIV.

But then I noticed him... its not 1080P, so I searched the internet and found out to disable the other resolutions so I did so.

After doing that I was happy but then started to notice something.... green dots outlining things.... around the sky around the people around the fog around everything.... I thought it might be the wire but wouldnt 720p also messup if it was the wire?

I searched everywhere and can't find anything linked directly with the problem.... although I did find a post about someone saying something about the allignment of pixels being off or something? If anyone has this problem or knows a way to fix it or anything at all.... please let me know.

*EDIT* I forgot to say that the green dots only outline the rightsides of things. It is never on the left side. Such as the letters in the PS3 menu.

No like I said it only outlines the right sides of things meaning that if I move the character or camera just a little bit the green dots are gone and have moved to a different area.
