I was thinking of getting a 19 inch monitor and I was wondering if 1440 by 900 is a good resolution. I would go with a 20 inch samsung but the prices are high. Are 19 inches good enough to make a game look great still?

I have the Samsung 906BW. 2ms response time and 2000:1 contrast ratio. It's priced at $249.99 Best Buy, but I got it for $199.

i dont have it but it's basically the same as the 8800gts 640. the 640 works better for resolutions higher than 1440x900.

Well then get the 19'', it's not a good idea to play at a non-native resolution on a LCD.
