That depends on your computer specs, specifically your video card.

The highest it will go to is 1350 x 1100? I'm not positive, but somewhere around those numbers. SInce my rez is at 900 I should not go over that number right?

Well, according to some random forum post I just read, you do this: [QUOTE="Random Dude on Some Forum"]Edit the shortcut Should look similar to this: "C:\Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 Then add the res like this: "C:\Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1440 +szy 900

So there you have it... in case you're wondering, you have to right click the shortcut, hit 'properties,' and then edit the target.

I had a hell of a time trying to get Battlefield 2 to work with my wide screen. Got tired of it crashing to my desktop. I believe i uninstalled it after that. We shouldn't have to use a work around with this game. It should be a supported resolution by DICE.

yep, this is the method i use for my 1440x900.  keep in mind, this method results in vert- (they chop the top and bottom) so you see a little less, but it does work in your native resolution for a clean image.

-edit-

resolution change never crashed my bf2 - there's probably another culprit for your crashes evilmrt

make sure you change the +fullscreen 1 to "+widescreen 1"  no quotes... fixes the FOV

yeah for some reason.... even without a the widescreen resoulution the graphics look like complete cartoon ****..... I have a x550 vid card with a gig of ram..... and an AMD 64.......... I have tried the settings on low, med , and high, and with different combos of those 3, and it still looks the same. Also, it takes sooooo long to load..... I played a team slayer game of Halo on my Xbox before I was actually in a map where I constantly lagged and eventually quit. At least I only paid 10 bucks... if I can't figure it out I'll probally just sell it and get CSS

60 mhz for a LCD monitor is perfect you dont kneed to go to 75mhz if your monitor can or not. LCD works way different than a CRT monitor which the higher the mhz the better.
