$150 and under surround sound...

I've been seriously considering this:

Anybody out there with a opinion on the matter?

Between your two choices I have this to say. The pioneer system would be the better option. RCA products are complete junk. I have gone through several of their products in my lifetime and they all are terrible.Also, Walmart in general is a poor choice for buying electronics. Pioneer makes some fairly decent products. I would recommend doing some research before you buy anything. For that price range I would recommend these:

The system provides quite a bang for the buck and they are THX certified which is really saying something about the overall quality of the speakers for the price. Logitech makes very good products. I have the more expensive Z5550 model and could not be happier.

Well maybe in your lifetime you have had some bad luck so to speak with anything to do with rca but with me they aren't bad at all cause I have a 5 disc cd player that is a radio and I can hook my xbox or tv up to it and they act as speakers for them.

Also my Mom has a rca tv that has been around for years that I know of.

Anyways far as I know his speakers there are the best and expensive as well but mine are more expinsive then hi8s cause I have the z 5450s but they aren't as powerful as his are and Logitech do make some fine speakers in fact that have been the only speaker bran that I have bought for all that I have.
