Is there any way you can possiby justify (read: get ANY USE out of) 1gb of memory with a 128-bit interface?

maybe its for high rez becasue isnt that what the ram is for rez's and stabilty

they also did this with the 8600gt, but what they did, to keep it the same price was change it to ddr2

they put 1gb for smooth hd playback not for gaming that card is for people who watch movies and etc but then again 1gb is not needed for such a noob card max 256mb
