So building my own PC seemed...scary, risky, and time intensive a week ago. I just wanted a box PC and get on with it...then I started reading posts here and looking around the net for info on computer building. Now I'm feeling an itch to try my hand at putting a system together - but I'm far to uninformed to do this battle correctly.
Here's what I've been going over:

A little over the budget that I wanted to target but far and away the best I've seen.
Do all these mix and match correctly? Are any over priced?
Opinions are appreciated as I'm trying to have my first build go as smoothly as possible and of course rookie mistakes won't help at all.
If you had to knock 1 or 2 parts down to a new teir of affordability, which ones listed can most afford to go cheap.
