Lost Planet wasn't that fun or entertaining in my opinion. Having played the Crysis BETA i can say the gameplay is fun and looks far mor promising!1005
Crysis for sure. I forgot, does Gamespot award action GOTY across all platforms (i.e. a faceoff between Crysis and Halo 3) or will they keep it platform-specific? If Halo 3 beats Crysis I will be extremely disappointed. The Beta MP alone is 100x more fun than the paltry Halo 3 campaign.

I'm not sure about Gamespot, but I know many other PC gaming sites and magazines have multiple awards for games.
im hearing many opinions leaning far towards Crysis, so i guess ill go with the people's choice...
since i never played either game, demo or otherwise, why is Lost Planet so bad?

Cause it sucks, the main game is like 4-6 hours long, and the controls for the mechs are horrid, not to mention the stupid storyline. The only real good thing about the game is the graphics.

Its not BAD per say, on its own, but compared to Crysis...it fades away.
thats true, Crysis just set the new standard for PC gaming... maybe in a year or so, every PC games that come out would be able near or on par with Crysis
