here are my pc specs: Dell Dimension XPS Gen 2: P4 3.0ghz w/800mhz/ht technology, 1024 mb @400mhz memory, ATI 128 mb 9800 pro graphics card, 19"Acer widescreen. i am wanting to upgrade.i am going to buy a x1950 pro 256 agp card. i am also going to increase the memory. i have checked prices on Crucial.com and 2 gb memory is only like $60.00 more than 1 gb memory. With my specs (x1950 pro included) is 3 gb total memory overkill vs. 2 gbtotal memoryor will it help my system? this will be my last upgrade until i buy a whole new system, so i want this to last awhile. thanx

you can get more memory but a better CPU would improve performance much more, what socket is your mobo.
