So you just want to wipre everything off of the drive? Well all you need to do is boot from your XP Pro disk, and just reformat the entire drive. That will wipe everything. From there just install your operating system and you've got a clean install.

Okay, so I just need to insert the disc and there will be an option just to format the drives and not to install the OS?

Put the disk in your PC dvd drive, reboot the computer and the Windows Disk should boot bringing up everything..follow the directions that are on the screen and..read>read>read..you'll do fine if you follow that much.

you'll be able to install it...every time u want to install an OS, it gives u the option to prep your hard drive like format and deleting partition so you can install a fresh copy on an empty hard drive
