2 pc componants or a ps3

when christmas rolls around i get a bonus check, now pending on how much i get i could get a E6850~3.0ghz processor and a good motherboard with 1333MHz FSB to go with my 8800 GTS graphics card that i already have, or i can get a PS3 for roughly the same amount of money. i already have a 360 with the HD-DVD add-on drive so i don't need a HD movie player. what would u guys suggest.

Those upgrades along with the 8800GTS will be better at games than the ps3, and you can do other stuff.

The question is what parts are in your pc now - it could be good enough that the upgrade would not abe worth it.

If you want to have friends over and play multi-player games, the ps3 will better suit your needs - especially if your pc can play games good now anyways.
