does 400 watt psu fully support my pc :spec are

e8400 processor

8800gt

2gb 800 ram

dvd rom

160 sata

asus p5k mobo

and i wana know which graphics card is better 8800gt or 9600gt

not to sure bout your Graphics card to play it safe i went with a 500W PSU but i think 400 would be okay, but a second opinion is strongly recommended.

depends on the quality of that 400 watt... but for either of those cards (8800 GT is better btw) i woldnt suggest nothing less than a good quality 450w (like the 450VX from corsair)

compaq PSU's are no good... any of these is a lot better than any PSU compaq will ever make, and isnt that expensive to be honest

yeah some 8800gt's require ample amount of amps on the +12v rating... mine does.. dont remember how much though, but my psu supports both of them fine, hell will prolly support 2 gtx 260 max cores', well maybe im not sure i dont know if i would chance it.
