I want to buy a monitor that would have component connections for my XBOX and a VGA connection for my laptop. I have about $200 to spend. Any ideas?

You won't find a monitor with component connections for that price...but you can get a component to vga adapter.

I actually found one with component and VGA inputs for exactly $200. Found it by an accident. Thanks anyway. Dynex 22" at Best Buy.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Dynex%26%23153%3B+-+22%22+Class+/+720p+/+60Hz+/+LCD+HDTV/9602904.p?id=1218130741730&skuId=9602904&st=dynex&contract_desc=null

That is not a monitor, as it clearly says HDTV, and it is only 720p, so you won't get full HD. Guess if it works for you though, all is good.

Dynex? Seriously? Not to sound like a jerk but I wouldn't put down $200 for it. I'd rather fork over more money and get this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236047&Tpk=asus%201920x1200%20monitor I highly highly recommend it. You will not regret this purchase. Comes with a rebate card as well.

dynex isnt that bad. Its best buy's own budget brand, and they work well for what its meant for.
