Got to go with Baldurs Gate 2 on this one ( + Throne of Bhaal), probably still my fav WRPG, with Planescape: Torment and Morrowind just behind. I think Throne of Bhaal is one of the better expansion packs ever.

The Sims could have 50 expansions included, and to me it still wouldn't be even 2% of the greatness of BG2.

Counter-strike's gonna get its share of votes, and rightfully so, thank God you didn't put the words Half-Life before Counter-strike, that tends to put people in a voting frenzy for it;). Two separate entries.

Your CS cover didn't make it, tends to happen when copying Moby Games covers over here (has happened to me before also), I usually get them on photobucket first.

Baldur's Gate gets my vote. While I have spent more time on Counter-Strike, BG2 is obviously a far richer and memorable experience.kdawg88

I enjoyed watching your Elite Force video....the one game on the list I didn't play.

I would have to go with Baldurs gate II . I never got into CS that much and other games i didnt like at all.

I went with BG. I remember starting to get a bit burned out with FPS at that point.

Looks like The Sims got on the board......wasn't that GS's 2000 GotY? Surprising to me, though it was sort of the first of its kind.

BG2 is hands-down the best game on this list, and probably of the year. Counter-Strike wasn't all that great in 2000 (Firearms was much better), so I'm sure most voters are using CSS as a referent. :(krazyorange

Deus Ex is the only game I'd have above BG2 for the year.......but judging from whats left for the last Poll of the year, Kdawg is likely gonna have some heavies on it.

Final awesome year of PC Gaming's golden years IMO.
