2009...Year of RTS games?

Empire Total war, Sup Commander 2, Dawn of War 2, Starcraft 2, and Demi god to name a few.

Thats not all. Theirs a ton more I am forgetting. RTS fans will love this years 2009 line up thats for sure:)

Yep, finally we don't have a year with 180 FPS games (minus the 60 cancelled), 7 RTS games (minus 5 canceled), 30 MMO games (or maybe 45+?), 2 RPG games (minus 7 canceled), 6 racing games, 5 action games (minus 4 canceled), 8 adventure games (minus 4 canceled) and 100+ indie games.

This year will be full of RTS and good racing games, well not so many but anyway, 2 of them I really want and both are from Codemasters, I'd wish RPGs would do well this year, but there aren't man, and none of them look that good, I almost don't care for Dragon age after the gameplay vids.

I am totally ignoring Starcraft 2 because with Blizzard it is always a questionable as to when it will be released.

I am also looking forward to a little know game called Codename Panzers Cold War and the next COH; we have had a break from all the WW2 themed RTS games so I am up to going back to that theme....
