2010 best year for pc gaming

I think 2009 was really a bland year when it came to pc gaming. Not many games that caught my attention except Arkham Asylum, COD:MW2 & Resident Evil 5.

However there are so many games that are realising in 2010 that is actually making my hands tingle and want to play them.

1) Bioshock 2

2) Assassin's Creed 2 (pc only)

3) Splinter Cell: Conviction

4) Mafia 2

5) Max Payne 3

6) Im Alive

7) Hitman 5 (rumored)

8) Arkham Asylum 2 (rumored)

I think 2010 is going to be the best year for gaming dont you think so?

i agree 2010 will be the best year pc gaming has had since 2010 looking most forward to starcraft 2, The witcher 2, crysis 2, and amnesia: the dark descent

and seriously your top 5 games for 2010 are all multiplatform not a single pc exclusive in the bunch.

This year must have been one of the best years in gaming. And before all the starcraft/baldur's gate/fallout fans jump down my throat in a violent fit of nerd rage, I'm talking about the sheer volume of great games, not to take away from some of the classics that maybe got released around 1999-2002. I am loosing count of the number of awesome games currently on my to-play list, there's never been such a pileup!F1_2004

i dont know, but i feel that UBI games went down hell since a couple of years ago. with games like TMNT, Lost, POP4...etc i used to be a big big fan of their games, but not anymore.

I'm buying Metro 2033 and Stalker; Call of Pripyat for sure.

AvP 3, wow nobody mentioned it, :? Starcraft 2, Duke Nukem Forever or D-Day or whatever (hopefully :P), Rage, Medal of Honor and Crysis 2 (hopefully) are the ones I'm most interested in.

I'm agree that 2010 will be not only one of the strongest PC gaming years in terms of the quality of the games, and will be the dominant platform in this incoming year based on the repercussion and wards, but for totally different games of the topic:

-Starcraft II, will be GOTY and will collapse Internet in the first days of the launchship.

-Bad Company 2, will be successful and a excellent preparation to BF3 in 2011.

-S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call Of Pripyat and Metro 2033 will fill the need of post-apocallyptic hybrid shooters of everyone.

-BRINK will be a great game, in both sp, mp and coop, maybe surpassing L4D 2 as the best coop around.

-Crysis 2 will be amazing in tech and probably overshadow in gameplay most of the fps in the year.

-RAGE, even developed to pad control, will be a very decent snack while waiting for Doom 4 in 2011.

-Cataclysm and Chaos Rising to WoW and DoW II lovers.

-And a ton of other multiplatform games, some of then filled with high expectatives, as Aliens vs Predator, Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction.

2010 looks brilliant in PC gaming, but is only the tip of the iceberg until the Diablo III launchship (when it's done), maybe at the end of 2011.

yup, great year for gaming in general. il get every one of those games definitely except for conviction and im alive, cos i dunno what they will be like. and i dont buy many games!
