Hi my psu has broken?
What one should I get?
I have a phenom 955 and a 7970 prob gonna want to do crossfire in the future. So I think I would need 900-1000w
I want to spend about £100-120 or $160-190.

A good 750-850 WATT PSU will power two HD 7970 with ease.
You don't need anything more than 750W to run a HD 7970 or GTX 680 in crossfire/sli as long as its a proficient PSU Silver/Gold rated from well known manufacturers.
With a heavily overclocked CPU and two HD 7970 your looking at 550-600W power draw, a 750w PSU is more than enough. If you are unsure and gulible to all the nay sayers that no little about hardware I have also recommended a 850w PSU from antec.
You can't go wrong with anyone of those PSU's.
Thanks
It was a coolermaster 800w 80plus gold that has broken I hope I can get my moneyback it still has that sticker on it.
I'm using a older corsair 750w one but it makes a really high pitched annoying noise. So I thought i'd replace it.
Yet I don't feel safe running 680GTX SLI with my AX750W from Corsair... Because the card itself is slightly OC'ed and the CPU is running at 4.4...A good 750-850 WATT PSU will power two HD 7970 with ease.

- Corsair HX 750W GOLD

Above is a 2600k overclocked to 4.8Ghz along with two overclocked GTX 680's and not once did it exceed 550W. A efficient 750W silver or gold rated PSU is all you need for either GPU setups.
Gold rated 90% efficient PSU at 750W... 675W. 2600k 4.8GHz SLI/Crossfire GTX 680/HD 7970 getting close to 600W. A silver/gold rated PSU at 750W is MORE than enough.
You not feeling "safe" isn't the concern of any reviewer that has reviewed SLI/Crossfire setups or reviewed 750W silver and gold rated PSUs in the last 2 years.
