Hi all, so I am looking for some speakers that I can connect to my TV. I cannot have or afford a home cinema system since this is for my bedroom and I dont have enough space. With all this considered, I have found that the only viable option is to get a good pair of PC speakers which I can connect to my TV.

I use my TV for Blu-ray films and some xbox 360 gaming. Could you guys reccommend some suitable, quality speakers that would be fit for this purpose.

My maximum budget is upto about 60 pounds, however if anyone discovers any quality speakers that would justify spending more, then I will consider them.

Preferably, id like some speakers which I can adjust the bass levels aswell.

Thanks in advace.

Klipsch Promedia is a great choice for 2.1 and sounds awesome, it can also adjust bass levels. Might be better off with a "DIY" Dayton setup though.

If your budget is that tight you I would suggest you just wait. Use the speakers in your television and save up for awhile until you can at least afford a half-decent HTIB (Home Theater in a Box), which generally starts around $500 USD for a decent, entry-level system. Most anything less than that is going to be mediocre in quality, both from an audio and reliability standpoint. Happy gaming, Boz

How about a pair of bookshelf speakers like this:

And a cheap stereo amp? You could look on ebay for some old hifi amps.
