1680 x 1050 is the max resolution you get with 22" widescreens now-a-days. Thats the resame resolution as its smaller 20.1" cusion.

My problem is I have the option to grab a 22" samsung 226bw for 1/2 price. But i dont know if i shoud take it because i feel that games that i plan to get in the future (look in sig) might not look as fantastic as they shoud due to this resolution.

Is it really a problem? please fill me in.

Almost all major future releases will support widescreen natively and be multithreaded.

It is a .255mm pixel pitch to .282mm.

There is a difference but you are not going to notice it.

Edit- please stop bumping this thread, if you want other opinions just wait for them.

Yes, go for it. You probably won't notice much of a difference. Plus, a larger screen is always good.

im just really nervous about the bigger pixles, because i want to enjoy crysis (when it comes out) in all is full yummyness.

Edit: Another question, will higher resolution 22" screens come out ever? or is that the 22" size like offically forever sorta thing.

Then go to your local electronics store and look at the different monitors in store...

It is not that big of a difference. Look at how big mm is and then think 1/3 of that...

If it is new and you are getting it for $150, then it is a great deal.

And no, a 22" screen will, most likely, never support a larger resolution.

Well I have only seen 1920x1200 on 24" screen or larger.
