1. i recently bought a HDMI cable and today i plugged it into my HDTV connecting to my GTX 260. i can see the image but it is very fuzzy and clearly not in HD, i tried to fiddle around with the resolution and HD format etc but it didnt really change how fuzzy it was. do i need some form of other cable? or is there a setting that im just not seeing? my HDTV resolution in the manual says it is 1440 X 900. Any help appreciated on this one.

2. i recently overclocked to 3.0 Ghz and occassionally get a blue screen and a "hardware malfunction". i was simply browsing the web when this happened today. my temperatures are fine when browsing the web; they usually hover around CPU - 33 and Motherboard - 41 degrees celsius. any idea why i have this hardware malfunction?

3. this leads me onto my 3rd question. when playing a game, for example far cry 2 or company of heroes my CPU temperature is fine at around 40 but my motherboard temperature shoots up to about 50. then i sometime sget a blue screen and i have to restart. is 50 degrees celcius really that dangerous for the motherboard?

thanks in advance

on your last two i think it you might have to increase the voltage a little or come down on your overclock

For 2 and 3, as said, it looks like you don't have a stable overclock. Either turn it down a bit, or add a little more voltage.

Do you have overscan on or off? This may over or underscale the image making it look blurry.

Not sure where it is in the Nvidia control panel, somewhere in monitor options probably. You might want to mess with the zoom options on your TV as well.

In ur nvidia control panel, have u got the gfx displaying 2 screens? eg; pc monitor and tv

If thats the case, the tv is trying to accept a higher resoulution (ur pc monitor resoulution) and can't display it correctly, ie; its trying to downscale but it cant. Easy to solve, just set ur primary monitor as ur tv, or u can display only onur tv.

HDMI will do the video, you may have to hook up audio by different means. If you can hook up SPDIF out internally to your video card you can get sound over HDMI (that's how Nvidia does it). Other than that you can just run a TRS to RCA out of your sound card and hook it up.
