I'm looking for a 30+ hour single-player game with good graphics.
Any genre, as long as it's addicting.

Define good graphics. A game from 2003 looks good to me so keep that in mind but try:
Mount & Blade: Warband
Medieval II: Total War
Arma 2
Unreal Tournament 2004 (I'm at 50 hours with only bots)
Dragon Age
[QUOTE="bcroger2"]Me2 or GOW3 Would work great. JangoWuzHere
Isn't GOW3 8 hours? And isn't this the PC board?
I lol'd Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Dragon age, The Witcher, Oblivion, GTA 4You could play STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl for 30 hours. You'd probably beat it once or twice and use some mods though.
So far ME2 is looking good.
Is UT2004 better than UT3?
And how is Mount & Blade?

Don't bother with Unreal Tournament 3. It looks better but all the players are in 2004. Not to mention they stripped a lot of features and killed the feel (arena games just 'feel' right and UT3 doesn't).
Mount & Blade is amazing. I would easily put it at the top of any list for addictive games because of how good it feels and the thrill of combat. Not to mention mods galore for the original and some being developed for the expansion. Look up youtube videos to see what I mean (Warband looks better so check that out). Forgot to mention Warband improves on the original in every way and is stand alone so if you get Mount & Blade then buy the expansion only.

Yeah I was thinking that '04 would be better than 3.
I'll look into those.
Just Cause 2 is a really good single player game with good graphics. I haven't beaten it yet but the way it's been going it should take well over 30 hours to fully complete the game. Not to mention it's just plain fun roaming around causing mayhem. If you're a fan of mercenaries definately check it out.
Dragon Age, The Witcher, Mass Effect 2 biggest_loser
this.....might want to add neverwinter nights diamond and 2 gold .......or baldur's gate 1 and 2......ummmm.....fallout 3 and the oblivion come to mind as well.....ur pretty much looking for rpgs tho....not much else lasts as long single player
i think ut2k4 is the best ut ever created. ut3 made me sad :( almost as sad as devil may cry 2...almost :evil:So far ME2 is looking good.

On UT2004 you can understand what's happening. I can't do that on UT3. Too damn fast in my opinion
Let me put it to you this way. I only purchased UT3 for a complete conversion mod called Renegade X. The actual game was stripped of everything that made UT2K4 so great. So far ME2 is looking good.

TES:Oblivion - Fallout 3 - GTA IV - Mass Effect 1-2
I can spend over 200 hours on Oblivion as it has loads of mods
Same with Fallout 3
Mass Effect offers over 50 hours
Same with the sequel.
GTA IV Can get really fun if you know what to do. Especially multiplayer,
me and like 6 other players became sort of a crew and flew all over the buildings.
Mass Effect 1 and 2, The Witcher: Enhanced Edition and Dragon Age are the only decent games I've played this generation that are at least that length.
[QUOTE="Lox_Cropek"] Not really sure why this is funny given that everyone i know that plays MW2 has put in at least 100 hours into that game... You must be on the "I hate MW2 because its Activision" bandwagon huh?[QUOTE="Dark_prince123"]MW 2 :Pgamer620
It's funny because the TC asked for single-player games, and the length of MW2's campaign in this context is, well, laughable.

MW2 single player is 4 to 5 hrs... the OP asked for a 30+ hr game... get the joke?

yeah but there is the Spec-ops mode which you can play alone, that Add 20 hours, so 10+20 = 30 hours :DGood graphics?... 30+ hours? Ugh... That one is hard... Most of the oldschool games have 30+ hours of single player game play. Now days the most common thing is 3-15hours... You know Bling bling graphics are important :D

ahhh makes sense now.Look no further than Fallout 3. If you really take your time and explore (which is actually worth it in this game), the main quest alone will take you 60+ hours. I can't even imagine how long it would take to complete all the side quests. And after all that, then you can go back and replay the game as good/evil, depending on what you chose the first time around. The game is just a masterpiece of truly epic proportions. Definitely not to be missed.JN_FenrirThis. Even though it crashed every 5 minutes (almost literaly), I had a lot of fun with Fallout 3. I've actually spent hours just roaming the wastes in that game.
