Hi all,

I want a TV suitable for console gaming, I think I found it, if you can match it then I'll be gob-smacked.

Can somebody pinch me, its 300 pounds including delievery. Is it cheap?

Simple Specs:

32'' Widescreen

HDMI 720p/1080i (1366x768)

1500:1 Contrast Ratio

Bad contrast ratio and the scaler probably sucks so i wouldn't be using non-hd stuff on it if i were you.

Well its not one of the brand names so be wary about the quality of the panel i.e. smearing, ghosting, motion blur and glare. The reviews on that site seem positive but a 32" for 299 is just plain suspicious. I too was recently searchin for a LCD at 350 or less but the biggest size i could find from brand names in and around that price was a 23 inch so im saving for a bigger size. So again do more research before buying. If you get a crappy LCD it will be apparent in every signal you give it.

I would suggest getting a Samsung HDTV for just 400 quids, its probably gonna be worth extra 100 quids

A HDTV that cheap, for that size, not forgetting the brand, is not going to be worth it if you're serious about quality. SD material will no doubt look awful (poor scaler), the quality of the components is going to be bottom-of-the-barrel and you'll find lots of little 'quirks' with it. By quirks, I mean faults, or as good as.

You should also be aware that the comments left on Ebuyer are vetted with most, if not all negative comments removed which produces a biased representation of a potentially, crap product. I love Ebuyer and buy from them but look for my product advice elsewhere.
