In that case, you will need at least a 1000w PSU.

You'd want at least 1kW PSU for 2x 4870X2. You don't want to run your PSU at 100% load all the time.

For the 1000w I would go for the HX-1000.

1200w maybe the 1200w Zeus Modular.

I am so jealous of your pc :(

Except for the ram, I would take some nice ddr3 ram, they are getting cheaper now.

mmm im going to OC the ram to 1066 speeds anyways so dosnt matter overly, the main reason im getting the ram is it has 16 LEDS per a stick and looks crazy i may even get 8gb to fill every slot LOL.

DDR3 isn't all that bad. I say wait a few days and pick up an Asus Rampage Extreme. I've been seeing excellent wolfdale OCs with it, and it also has x16 lanes in CF unlike P45 boards. Which would mean you would have to get DDR3 RAM. Make sure it's nothing over CAS 7. Also the Corsair 1000HX is a good choice for PSU.

WAIT ? how could it cost you 3000$? for that such low part.. i don't get it ?
unless ur monitor you get is a 30 inch 2560x1600
and raid 0 is much less imoprtna then sli or crossifre
and ur ram ? what mhz are they..
E8600 ? X48 ? 320GBx2 WEsterind igtal veliciraptr ? & Ram ? as i know off your better going DDR2 800mhz
or wait for nehalem X58 in november. + CPU with such money oh well..
Cpu cooler: Tower : OS : monitor 4870x2 part by part should nto ger higher then 2000$
so 3000$ woul dhaeve to be those frekaing awsome monitor at 2560x1600 who not even current 4870x2 CF can max out everting. with stable fps in most of new game with AA & AF maxed out with everying grpahic maxedout unless it Grid & Oblivion & call of duty 4 & older game

hmmm fair enough, i dunno what prices you can get :S but this is quite cheap (most things only have about a 5-10% markup on them. the ram is 800mhz, the next biggest monitor is the dell 30" which is $1000 more.

where you buy the part off ? and are you from usa ? id have to check that out cause 3000$? for that.. what spec again you said ? id love to know cause.. i doubt of the worth of the price of part would have to check out that thing.
but it sure a nice monitor a DELL 30 !how ever just was saying my point of view that 2560x1600 really expensive
i donno how go the downscaling. at 1920x1200 with that monitor as it do it. the downscale. for some video game
cause with a single 4870x2 you won't run everting high and fluid even with TWO lol it why i hope video card was Stronger
then id get one of those monitor also . they have Awsome pixel at the cost of GPu Change every 2-3 year that is alway around 1000$ Set. to run everything fluid on it. with reduced AA i hope the next Generation of NVIDIA in 2009 Q3 & ATI R800 fix the power hunger of video game lol for that resolution something overpower-full for everything maxed lol
http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=MTUzMSw0LCxoZW50aHVzaWFzdA==
i bet if they put 24X AA CF on 2560x1600 it get laggy :P
how ever AA isn't so essantial as Graphic just a shown off ;)

no im not from the US, im in AUS, and yea the 3k mark for the list is pretty much as absolutely cheap as possible here. from what i here i should be able to run crysis maxed out on 1920x1200 which is the max that screen can do anyway, if i magically manage to get enough for a 30" i would get one but we will see.
