360 Controller as a PC Gamepad

Well i tried that but i couldn't find anything

mine came with a driver disc but i assume you can DL it from the MS resource site.

Say, by anychance does anyone else experience a massive FPS dive when they have the thing active?

I got me the wireless receiver here (official Microsoft product, supports up to 4 wireless controllers and/or mics simultaneously), and holy crap does it wreck my framerate just having the dang thing plugged in...

i just plugged it in and it worked fine with halo2, i wonder if vista has the drivers preinstalled. ankor77

I have XP and mine just worked when I plugged it in. The drivers were already there. I didn't even get the controller for windows. I just got the regular 360 controller.

Vista does indeed come pre-bundled with the drivers for the USB 360 controller. Also, the Windows and 360 versions are identical save for the fact that one ships with a PC driver CD and one does not.
