I have a HD 3870 now. I was thinking of either getting another one and crossfiring them. Or maybe getting rid of the card I have and just getting the X2 model. Which way would give me better speed and performance?

Yeah, I thought that might be the case. I'm just trying to figure out how to get the most out of the machine.
I see that you are running a 64bit version of Vista. I have the 64bit version of Vista on one of my partitions. Do you notice any difference in games (either Gears of War or Crysis or whatever) when you use DirectX 10? I've run both those games and have noticed NO difference in graphic quality between DirectX 9 and 10.

LOL You do realize you can Crossfire that with a 3870X2 (that means 3 GPU's) and the performance increase will warrent the buy.
[QUOTE="achilles614"]Just do crossfire with a 3400, that would be the best bang for buck imo.hofuldig
Lol you cant crossfire a 3870 and a 3400. you can only crossfire a 3400 with a 3200 (and 3200's are onboard graphics)
But still you have to admit, if you could imagine the power!Would it be worth it? If money is no problem then go for it.
If you do end up doing that let us know how it whent.
