Hey all.

I really want to get in and do some animation. I have an idea all layed out, script and all i have done for it. I just need a program.

One that i can create characters in and scenes. I know alot of work will have to go into it, and alot of reading. But im really keen.

I have been looking at Blender. And i have Poser 7. I just am not sure if you can create scenes in Poser.

Anyway. Thanks for any help.

Cheers.

P.S. I know this is the wrong place to post this. Sorry, just wasn't getting anything from the General Discussion area.

indeed thats the best there is. It take a while to learn but it's worth it! And if you have a long animation planned. plan on it taking several months to have a working design. It does take along time!

I started animation for a similar reson, but most rewarding is if you can get some freelance work. For exampleI freelance for a local architect doing walkthroughs on occasion. It's rewarding in knowing you're doing a good job, and the money is aslo fairly nice(seeing as I'm 16)

I have 3d's Max 9. I know that gears of war was made with it. I make all sorts of things from simple objects like boxes to levels, and charecters for games. It took me 3 yrs to get really good, but beside learning the interface it is the best program out there. (im 14 now i started when i was 11) oh yeah
