This is my score using an overclocked GTX at 631 and 2080 mem. I am running it on a c2d E4400 at 3.2GHZ and low latency rams

This is really making me worry. Why does my gtx lose to his GT in the circled portion??? IS my cpu limiting my sm3 and sm2 score????????

8500 is also fairly low. i think its ur crappy amd cpu and yes the motherboard also. what speed is ur ram? its at least 667mhz right?

dude, that's pretty sh**y, hate to put it that way but its true. if ur motherboard acts like most than it probably clocks the memory at the lowest speed stick (so ur memory is probably running at just 266mhz).

for u right now, ur memory is the bottleneck totally. can ur motherboard handle ddr2? how fast is the fsb? if ur fsb is only 333mhz then a new mobo with a new cpu (together with faster memory) would make ur 3dmark06 score skyrocket to around 12-14k like that other guy said.

tom's hardware did a review wth a quade cpu and spec similar to what ur looking into

for crysis, depends on the resolution but ur looking at between 25-35fps i think that's for high settings also but check the article.

Looks about right, I get a 13,046 with an 8800GT 512MB @ 700Mhz, e8400 @ stock (for now), and 2GB Memory.Baselerd

with a e8400 3.8Ghz, and a Oc'ed 8800GT, I hit 14045 the other night. 8800GT is a awsome card if you know how to push it without frying it.
