512MB 8800GT vs 1GB HD3850 vs 512MB HD3870

Hey, so i was planning on getting an 8800 GT till some people told me a HD3850 would be better so i searched on some prices and stuff and wondering, out of these 5 graphics cards, which one do u think would be the best for a 17 inch monitor.

Sorry if this question has been posted before, this is like my third post on this part of GS forums so if it has, throw me over a link.

When i get my new computer in a year i will be putting duel cards and spend alot but for now, i would just like a pretty good upgrade for around $175.

HD3850

lol, the 3870 is actually cheaper than the 3850!

get the 4850, its only a smidge more, otherwise get the 8800gt.

dont get any 1gb card, the extra memory is pointless i think.

why not the 4850? the one i pointed out is a fiver more!!

well, 15 after rebate, but theres a big difference between them!

On your other thread, people recommended you the hd4850, not hd3850. If you can add a little more money, go with the hd4850, if not the 8800gt is a good deal too.matrixian

the hd 4850 is a littel better than 9800gtx so its ofcourse its worth it .
