Where are you getting your parts?

Overall, I think it's good for a budget. Definitely upgrade to the 6850 though. It's very much worth whatever extra, plus you'll get a free copy of Deus Ex HR most likely.

What's the highest price you're willing to pay? If you're going the AMD CPU route I would get the phenom 955. I would get a better brand if mobo just cause I don't know mug about biostar. Cheapest case is get is the Antec 300 (I think its that one) or the HAF 912 but better yet the HAF 922. I would bump up the videocard too but I don't know much about the AMD gpu family. i say wait until september 19th. Its the day AMD is expected to release their nex gen cpu's codenamed Bulldozer. It will most likely drop the prices of their older cpu lineup like the phenom II 955 and etc. Also make sure you get an AM3+ motherboard
