He everyone my dad is allowing me to bulid my family a new computer and my dad won't be purchasing any of this stuff around Christmas time so I hope prices and other stuff go on sell by then. It's a family/semi-gaming pc. I'm only plaining on playing games at 1280x1024 so anyways this is my bulid so far. Other than that its for surfing the web, school work, and video editting.

Price after MIB and Shipping: $650 I do go over $600 but I plan on chipping in due to the 8600 being the most expenisive thing. I plan to go sli with it so so for Christmas i'm going to upgrade. I hopping I can convince my dad we don't need Microsoft Office as we already have Microsoft Office 2003. Then it would be spot on $600.

You may want a bigger hard drive, 160 is a little tight. Go for ATLEAST 220.

It would be better just to buy a 8800 GTS rather than 2 8600's.

If you aren't buying until Christmas, then you are wasting your time making a build.
