Ok for those who hate acronyms MTWII is short for Medieval II Total War.

Now then, the  UK Patch is listed at 613 MB, so you did find the right file.

If you are using an outmoded means to connect to the internet, (56k, telegraph, morse code, etc) you will have a greater risk of data corruption with larger files.

just download it again. there's not much else you can do. you might wan't to download it somewhere else where you can use a faster connection (if possible). just remember to take your usb-memorystick with you.

and btw, it's 613MB(!), not 613mgb (wich means something like mega-giga-bytes)

Whoa! 613 MB PATCH!? That's larger than almost any game released up to just a few years ago...

Yep, time to redownload. If it's corrupt and you downloaded ftp or htp your boned. The only way I could think to fix it is if you downloaded the patch legitimatelyfrom a torrent. That automatically would do a hash check on the whole file and redownload parts that don't match up.

Just a question:

How could you ILLEGALLY download a freely-distributed patch VIA a torrent or any other means?

I dunno, just due to the nature of torrents, I felt the need to put a disclaimer in.
