Nahh.. It's just like the 8800gt/9800gt, and the 8800GTS 512/9800 GTX/GTX+/GTS 250.
9800GT I believe is more power efficient and overclocks ever so slightly better so atleast there is something going for it.8800GTS 512/9800 GTX/GTX+/GTS 250 they all performed differently on stock settings....
The 9800gt's that first came out were exactly the same as the 8800gt's. There was no difference. They were both 65nm, 112 core G92s with the same exact core and memory speeds. After a little while they starting putting out the 55nm 9800gt's, and then some green versions that are slower.
Sure, the GTS 250 is slightly faster than a 9800GTX+, which is every so slightly faster than a 9800GTX or GTS 512. They are all using the same basic GPU and memory setup though. Obviously there are some 1GB versions of the GTS 250, but added VRAM doesn't do that much for you at most resolutions.
