[QUOTE="OoSuperMarioO"]I made it 3 minutes. What's your point?Very underwhelm for a Battlefield game. Gameplay also look uninteresting for me. Even with a good engine powering it, settings still feels empty and overall lacks atmosphere compared to a game like Modern Warfare. Character animation looks extremely stiff and lifeless.Made 4 minutes into the video feed before closing it bud.

Just looked like another Call Of Duty clone. Except missing the hundreds of grenades that always get thrown at you. Also get hit, no probs, just duck and wait for a sec to recover. A run and gun shooter....prob some good mindless fun though.
This game has such authentic tactics, that it leaves games like ARMA2 dead in the water......"sarcasm"
Will I buy it? Prob.....there are times I come home from work and don't feel like using my brain much.

I'm not saying BFBC2 appears to be a bad game, however, I truly believe DICE procures the talent to make a better Battlefield game.

The only diffirence is that it does not have the atmosphere and cinematic setting of modern warfare.[QUOTE="Swiftstrike5"] I made it 3 minutes. What's your point?gunmaster55555

Let's not judge a game before it comes out eh? Anyways, I agree with your comment about MW1, as it was really atmospheric, especially during the sniper level. But in all seriousness, Battlefield has much larger battles+destructible environments+larger player count so I don't see how it feels empty.
It could have more atmosphere, I agree, but I think the main focus is on large scale action battles and not the overall atmosphere

Even with a good engine powering it, settings still feels empty and overall lacks atmosphere compared to a game like Modern Warfare. Character animation looks extremely stiff and lifeless. I do see your points about the singleplayer. Those who thrive on a good atmosphere should probably look elsewhere. I've also discovered that atmosphere is hard to determine from just 'watching.' You can watch someone play silent hill, but you won't experience the atmosphere unless you actually play it. I make no assumptions that BF:BC2 will have a good singleplayer, storyline, or atmosphere. The video actually shows the opposite. It'll probably be another MW2 singleplayer where you kill enemies from start to finish with maybe a small break for some story. Most dedicated BF players want a good multiplayer. Overall, it looks like a significant improvement of BF2, which is what I care about. MW2 doesn't even begin to compete with BF2 in my book. BC2's graphics and destruction engine make it all the more satisfying to strafe a building with an Apache or lay a c4 trap and bring down a building on top of a squad. The only thing I'm not excited about is the lack of prone and the ability to spawn on any squad member. I don't want to be picky, but I don't see any artistic value in MW2 or BF:BC2. MW2 looks like plastic (weapons look unrealistic, so do characters. Too much bloom/HDR as well.) and BF:BC2 looks like a little washed out on the color scheme. I think the animations in BF:BC2 look more realistic, even though clunky and stiff. MW2 animations looked ridiculous. They're carrying around stinger missiles on their backs along with a sniper rifle, grenades, flash bangs, and dual shotguns... yet they can run around like track stars lunging at people with knives.[QUOTE="Swiftstrike5"][QUOTE="OoSuperMarioO"]

Well, I'm delighted DICE is almost finish with BFBC2, it means the wait for Battlefield 3 will be detailed soon enough, lol...

im getting this bad feeling that BC2 is BF3, although dont get me wrong i thing BC2 is gonna be pretty good and im gonn aget it, its just not quite up to the level i would exspect from a sequal to bf2, although who knows. at the end of 2008 i believe it was, Dice promised two upcoming games besides BC2 and 1943, one of them we now know is a new medal of Honor game, and im hoping the second is bf3http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKdIAmLYeTQ&I don't care about BF2 pilots because they don't care about anyone else. They were immature and would TK you for a jet in a heartbeat. They were a thorn in the BF2 community. I'd hate to break it to you, but it's unlikely BF3 will have jets. I'm basing that on the fact that the 3 most recent battlefield games haven't had jets.

If Battlefield 3 is being made like battlefield 2, it needs jets.I don't really care about jets, mostly for the reason I sucked at it and I was NEVER given a chance to even practice since all the other players just TK, hog the vehicles, have enemies destroy our aircrafts before anyone gets in etc. Anyways, either only PRO pilots get to use it or stupid, immature **** that just blow up the vehicle
What impresses me the most is the blending in of soldiers and the environment.
You need to mark your enemy targets in order to get a little red indicator over their heads for teammates to see- it's not like you can tell just from their big red nametag over their heads.
You can really blend into your surroundings in Bad Company - and you have to actually use your EYES to find people unless you use those motion sensors or whatever.
Like in the beginning of that video - I didn't even realize there were other soldiers ducking behind the cover until you walked closer to them. I hate it in other shooters when the players all have a glow or a outline around them that makes them stick out like sore thumbs, even if they are ducked down in a bush.
Sniping is going to be fun in this game. I can't wait to test the beta tonight.
