At that size you won't notice a difference between 720P and 1080P, which means 720P becomes 1080P. Just so you know the Wii doesn't support 720P, so it may look worse depending on the size of the TV you've recently played it on(Bigger=Worse). Also 90% of 360 and PS3 games only support 720P.

Ya it should be perfect for you, make sure to buy the HD cables for your PS3 and 360, My Wal-Mart had them selling for $10, I however didn't find them in the electronics department, it was pretty much laying in the middle of no where, I guess it's where they place items that don't really sell well.

720p on a TV that size is perfectly fine.

The resolution alone doesn't make a TV good or bad, it's just one of a number of factors. I'd be more concerned with things like the Contrast Ratios and the number of colours the TV is capable of showing.

720p vs 480i, I'll tale the 720p!!!! Heck, I honestly can't tell the difference from 720p and 1080p, I only have 1080p on because me tv can do it. 720p looks amazing, but 1080p to me looks NEARLY the same until you get onto bigger tvs (like mine). I have a 50 inch tv, that's when you can see the true 1080p pic, but for 20-37's. you can't tell the difference. 720p is never a bad step up.

Also, you ever heard of 1600p? 2560x1600? Awww, that crap is BEAUTIFUL. I have that resolution on my games for my pc (pc monitor). I can't wait for hdtvs to host 2560x1600 resolution, that's a great pic.

HDMI makes everything LOOK better...

I strongly believe it also makes everything sound better, but I can't find anyone to back me up on this.

yeah well, that HDTV was a good choice and the resolution in that size(32'' or 37'') is nearly the same 720p or 1080p, (I have personally noticed that the 1080p gives you better and sharper text, but just that)

now about the HDMI cables, they will give you the best video possible, but about Audio, it depends on your receiver (if you have one). if you have a 5.1 home theater i'll pick Optical audio over HDMI; if you have a 7.1, well HDMI will be the best (and only pick).

Good luck!

You can pick up HDMI cables cheap on Newegg. I've got a few Link Depot brand and they work just fine. From everyhting I've heard, since it's a digital connection, the signal either goes through perfectly or not at all, so there's no need for more expensive, fancy brands.
