I'm wondering if the Sony HDMI Cable w/ USB Cable Pack can work with this tv http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LNT2354H-23-Inch-HDTV-White/dp/B000N50RUK. I have this tv so I'm wondering if I should get the Sony HDMI Cable or the Sony A/V Component cable?

EDIT: I'm new to this hdtv so I don't know how it really works.

Don't bother getting that. It will work, but very overpriced. the only real difference between HDMI cables, besides revisions, are the build construction but even .01 cent cables from amazon work perfectly fine (I've bought 5 and all work.)

Go there for all your cable needs. Great prices and really liked around here.Mediabridge and Blue Jeans Cables are also liked around here though I haven't personally used any of their cables yet. Oh ya, never buy into Monster Cable's BS marketing and never buy their products.

1080i is higher resolution than 720 but it's a waste of money (imo) to get anything over 720 unless you're going over 46" in screen size. You probably won't see a difference in resolution with screens smaller than that, than again everyone's eyes are a little different.

I must say your opinion is wrong.

1080p looks the same at 22" as it does at 60" if both are viewed from the correct distance, so no, you wouldnt be wasting your money.

....and 1080i actually does not do anything on fixed pixel displays as it will have to be scaled to either 720p or 1080p. 1080i on crt's makes a difference as they can be interlaced. Fixed panel displays can not be interlaced. They are all either 720p or 1080p.
