7600GT vs 8600GT

I need a new card. The last one I had was a 7600GT XFX card. It crapped out after about a year. Which is better at this point since there both about the same price?

i still have a 7900gt ... i will be able to play crysis, i play all other games very smoothly

i definitly can wait for maybe the 9000 serie, even if it comes up to 1 year from now

if you are going for vista right now, you sure could take advantage of the DX10 .. go for 8000 serie

$95 ? Really ? Where ?

Also, the only GT from ATI in that class I recall is an X1950, not an X1900.

For everyone else, to see two cards from the same company closely compared for raw specs, go to GPU Review. It's much harder comparing ATI against nVidia that way, however, since it really is less clear due to architecture differences.
