Which one do you guys believe is better?

man how much this comes up. it goes back and forth between these two from benches i've seen. for this just go with whatever is cheaper. Although if you got the money just get an x1900 pro or XT way better then the 8600. filmographyHow about the 1900GT or 1950GT?
^do you mean the 7900GT and 7950GT, yeah the 7950 does really good and does beat the 8600 plenty of times i say go for it. 8600 aint doing dx10 well anyway so it comes down to dx9 and the 7950GT winsfilmographyno i meant 1900GT and 1950GT because you said ''Although if you got the money just get an x1900 pro or XT way better then the 8600.'' Because i can get a 1900GT for cheap.
With the 7900GS, the drivers are much more mature. I can't recommend the 8600GT. If you want a DX10 card, go for the 8800.

nVidia's DX10 card drivers are pretty mature.. don't know what the hell you are talking about.

The X1900GT is actually better than the X1950GT due to higher clock speeds, but I believe both cards outperform the 8600GT by just a little bit.
^no those cards do get beaten by the 8600 GT. pretty much x1900pro>7900GT>8600GT>7900GSfilmography
You were dissing the 8600GT and now you put it in front of the 7900GS? What the hell?
More like..
X1950Pro >> 7900GS >> X1900GT >> X1950GT >> 8600GT >> 7600GT
There is no "X1900Pro"
trust me i'm not defending it buts because of some benchs i saw that i put it infront of 7900GS

man not even i would hate on that that badly lol. the benchs are hard to find but basically the concenses is that they perform "close" well say but the 8600 takes the lead by a bit. Still crap card though. The GT cleans its clock and much of the radeon series does to. I only put the x1900 Gt lower than the 8600 becaue of it being beat by the the GS in a few games but if your certain i'll take your word for it.
The 8600GT can be found on NewEgg for 126$! If it outperforms the older gen cards by even a little its cheaper!LouieV13I was going to get it but its sold out. I just want to know which card i should get from that list. or how about the X1950 PRO
ah correct me if i'm wrong but didn't the 7900GS get 4611 in 3d06 and the 8600GT in 5350 in 3d06.
oh and to answer the question ealier if hiryu is correct get the x1900 GT, i'll defer to him on this one. the only thing i have to say good about the 8600 is that for its price and performance it is a good match but it wont rock dx9 gaming and certainly not dx10. its a budget card but i think the extra money for a ATI card is better.
so just get the 1900GT? Will that run crysis well?ah correct me if i'm wrong but didn't the 7900GS get 4611 in 3d06 and the 8600GT in 5350 in 3d06.

filmography
for dx9 mode it should run well, probably medum maybe high. filmographyHey do you have aim? or any messenger so we can talk for a bit. I got some questions.
3DMark means absolutely nothing. The 8600s do very well in 3DMark but the DX9 cards that got slightly lower scores still outperformed them.Hiryuu_would the X1950 Pro be a better buy? I can get a X1950 PRO 256mb for 135 shipped.
[QUOTE="Random__Guy"]8600GT beats them all, xDarkPhoenixxHey whats up dude. Hows it going?hey. Its going ok.
