7900gt in SLI?

my machine performes good with many games(fear, sc.double agent, stalker, battlefield 2142 and more) on medium settings in 1280x960.

would another 7900gt bless me with high setting,1920x1200 resolution and 4xAA possibilies?

...and is it possible for me to mix a 7900gt256mb with a 7900gt512mb?

does it have to be the same manufactorer?

my specs:

amd 3800+ 64bit

asrock sli mobo

2 gigs of 400mhz ddr1 ram

7900gt 256mb

370w powersupply (will be getting a 600w if I get the other 7900)

It doesn't have to be the same manufactuer, but it does need to have the same memory size. I wouldn't really recommend mixing manufactuer though.

I'd also advise that you sell your existing 7900GT and get a 8800GTS instead of going with a SLI'ed 7900GT setup.

You CAN mix memory size, it is just going to default both to the lowest mem size.
But SLI 7900gt is barely better then a 7900GTX which would struggle at 1920x1200.
As mentioned above, just buy a $260 8800GTS.

a 8800gts with a amd 3800? wouldnt the cpu bottleneck the gpu?storjohan_
