Crysis MAXED SETTINGS (no AA or AF 1680x1050)

need for speed works flawlessly now (had to disable crossfire for it to work correctly before)

ATI's drivers are finally kicking ass, nice to hear that since I heard them to be a little buggy at release of the 3870

It says DX10 at the top of the screen. You know, as in DX10 rendering path, not Very High settings.

When you are playing in DX10 very high it says "DX10 very high spec" and not custom.

Why would you buy a 3870X2 instead of getting two 3870's and Crossfiring them? Isn't it basically the same thing at a lower price point? The 3870X2 seems like a great card, but I just don't see the advantage it has over two regular 3870's.

It performs a decent bit due to the higher clocks of the two cores. You can also use it to have 2 GPUs if you only have one PCI-e slot.

One 3870x2 runs games a whole 1-3 fps faster then two 3870's in CF, yet you can buy two 3870's for as little as $360. That's $90 cheaper then one 3870x2. Though you're right, not everyone has two PCI-Express slots which is what makes the 3870x2 very attractive.

Crysis is overrated and why dont you try go too a place where there are actualy ai and rockets and physics goin on to see how fast that 29 FPS drops into the 10's.

Are you using a 6 and a 8 pin power connector on the card? You cant OC it if youre using two 6 pins.

nice work there mate.

just a question, what speed are you running your CPU?

coz Crossfire HD3870X2's @ 1680x1050 are gonna bottleneck like crazy ... you might not see the performance increase you are hoping for.
