You need at least 8600GT or 7600GS/GTtoplaybioshockdecent

Can the 8600 GTS OC play games like Bioshock well? Or do you need a 8800?

I have the 8300GS and downloaded the demo, I'll just tell you, you can't play it on max without horrible frame rates. I had to take it down to medium settings to actually have an OK frame rate. This is on DX 9 BTW.

OK then I will get the 8600 GTS OC, as long as I can play Oblivion well and STALKER I will have no problems with it. Bioshock I can always buy for the 360 and know it will look good.

The 8600 GTS runs Stalker and Oblivion well....if you SLi the 8600 GTS it would be great for Bioshock.

Not worth it to SLI it since the 8800 GTS 320 MB outperforms the 8600 GTS in SLI.

No, an 8500 GT is a Yugo and the 8300 is a pogostick.

Pogo stick is like an overclocked 8300gs imo. :roll:
