Seconding, its a no brainer. (Although you may need to upgrade your PSU).

Why are you deciding between 2 8500GTs and a 9600GT?! 9600GT all the way!

I am here to agree, the 9600 is FAR better than the 8500 in SLI. Good luck

Everyone must know this rule whenever they think about having dual cards setup; x2 weak GPUs DONT PERFORM 1 strong GPU.
So take the 9600GT without even looking somewhere else

Well maybe SLI 8500 maybe performs something like a single 8600GTS..

...the 9600GT performs like 3 8600GTS....

The leap between is enourmus, 9600GT is well worth the money and it´s a good performer.

I don't even think two 8500s in SLI would be as good as a single 8600gt...notice I removed the s :P

One of my friends has an 8500 because he buys on impusle and the other has an 8600gt. The 8500 can barely handle TF2 on low details and the 8600gt plays it smooth as butter on medium/high settings.
