Ok I'm building a new rig what would be better? 2 8600gt in sli or a single 8800gt?
Go for the single 8800GT, SLI has variable performance depending on the game.And as far as I know, one 8800GT will beat two 8600GT's in SLI. I might be wrong though.

I almost made the same mistake with buying 2 8600s, only to realize that a single 8800 pretty much kills it. So deff go for the 8800.
