hi everyone.....

i was thinking of buying 8800 Graphic cards (SLI) for Crysis....so i encountered two monsters :

(1) EVGA e-Geforce 8800 GT KO edition 512MB DDR3

(2)eVGA e-GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB

so my Question is which one of these two will run better in SLI mode and will there be a big difference??

which one will heat more ?

and which one has the best Values?

thx in advance :D

8800GTX SLI is better than 8800GT SLI,but not my a whole not,get 8800GT SLI.

But do you really need SLI in the first place?

i do not think that crysis supports sli at the moment, or if it does its very buggy.

Get a single GT, if performance isn't up to your standards then get a second.

Hm...I'm wondering how can you tell the difference.

@OP: In term of price/performance, 8800GT SLI is your best bet for now but bear in mind that they will produce plenty of heat than a single GTX.

get a single GTX, if this is not satisfied you, then you can go for SLI with GTX.

The 8800GTX will still be faster than the 8800GT, but not by much anymore on resolutions at or below 1680x1050, and in some cases, 1920x1200. The GTX will still be faster at a higher resolution or in games where the 512MB of memory will start to hamper the GT. But for all we know, the revised (G92) GTS may very well be even faster still. But one would have to be foolish not to then expect them to re-revise the GTX/Ultra to compensate.
